2024년 3월 16일, 이화여자대학교와 일본 ICU의 Crosslinguistic Workshop이 진행되었습니다. 주제별 세션으로 구성된 워크샵은 저희 연구실과 ICU에서 연이어 발표가 이뤄졌습니다.

첫 번째 세션은 동물 유창성 과제와 관련한 것으로, 성지은 교수님의 발표로 시작되었습니다. "Cross-linguistic and multicultural effects on animal fluency performance in persons with aphasia"라는 주제로 동물 유창성 과제의 다양한 면을 다루며, Zodiac과 관련한 흥미로운 내용도 소개해 주셨습니다.
이어서 일본의 Honoka Endoh 선생님은 "Animal fluency task by Japanese speakers of different generations" 주제로 발표하셨습니다. 이는 비슷하고도 다른 문화권을 가진 한국과 일본의 동물 유창성 과제 수행을 비교하는 시간이었습니다.
두 번째 세션에서는 유예린 석사과정 선생님께서 "Aging-related changes in switching and clustering strategies in the action fluency task using hierarchical clustering analyses"라는 주제로 우리나라 동사의 군집화와 전환에 대해 발표하셨습니다.
다음으로 Rina Furusawa 선생님은 "Patterns in the verb fluency task by Japanese speakers"의 주제로 일본 동사 활용을 설명하셨습니다. 이러한 발표들은 동사와 관련한 문장 구성에 대한 통찰력을 살필 수 있었습니다.
세 번째 세션에서는 박지민 박사과정 선생님께서 "Research trends in sentence comprehension and production tasks among Korean speaking older adults and the neurogenic disorders"를 주제로 조사 사용과 관련한 문장 이해 및 산출 과제에 대해 발표하셨습니다.
다음, Seunghun Lee 교수님의 발표는 "Comprehension and production of Japanese sentences: Effects of canonicity, word order and voice"라는 주제로 진행되었습니다. 두 발표를 통해 우리나라와 일본의 문장 과제 수행에 따른 유사점과 차이점을 살펴보고, 노년층 및 신경성 질환 환자들이 가지고 있는 조사 및 동사 활용의 특징에 대해 논의하였습니다.
본 워크샵을 통해 국가 간 동일한 주제에 대한 수행력을 비교하며 서로의 연구를 확장시킬 수 있었습니다. 또한 폭넓고 심도 있는 과제 이해와 앞으로의 연구 방향에 대해 활발하게 논의할 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이었습니다.
