On Saturday, November 8, the 9th Joint Conference of the Korean Association of Speech-Language Therapy and the Korean Academy of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology was held at BEXCO, Busan. This year’s conference brought together a large number of undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and professors from across the field of speech-language pathology in Korea.

It served as a meaningful platform for participants to share the research they had conducted throughout the year and to engage in active academic exchange. A total of 17 doctoral and master’s students from NABLe attended the conference, submitting 8 abstracts. Among these, 2 were selected for oral presentations and 6 for poster presentations. We are especially proud to share that three of our teams received Outstanding Presentation Awards: In the Oral Presentation category: Neurogenic Language Disorders (Junyoung Shin et al.) Articulation/Phonological Disorders and Hearing Disorders (Jiseong Kim et al.) In the Poster Presentation category: AI and Digital Literacy (Yae Rin Yoo et al.)

These achievements, with three teams from our lab recognized at a single conference, reaffirm the academic excellence and innovative contributions of NABLe’s ongoing research. We are incredibly proud of our team and look forward to seeing each member continue to pursue impactful research in their areas of interest in preparation for next year’s conference.
