From October 26 to 28, the 63rd Academy of Aphasia was held in San Diego, California. This year, Professor Sung attended the conference along with four PhD students — Jimin Park, Soeun Kim, Junyoung Shin, and Yae Rin Yoo — as well as Sujin Kim, a recent master’s program graduate. Among them, three of our PhD students (Jimin Park, Soeun Kim, and Yerin Yoo) were honored with the Academy of Aphasia NIDCD-Sponsored Mentoring Award, which included a travel scholarship.

We had a truly enriching experience — engaging with world-renowned researchers, attending inspiring talks, and connecting with the broader aphasia research community. We would like to sincerely thank Professor Sung once again for making this incredible opportunity possible!
