Tech-Biz Ewha 2024

On December 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM, Tech-Biz EWHA 2024 was successfully held at Lee Sam-Bong Hall in the ECC building of Ewha Womans University. The event served as a platform to showcase the university’s cutting-edge technologies and innovative research achievements in one place.

Hosted annually since 2021 by Ewha’s Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation, Tech-Biz EWHA aims to promote the commercialization of promising future technologies and foster meaningful networking opportunities between researchers and industry professionals. This year’s event saw the participation of President Eun Mee Kim, Vice President for Research and Director of the Industry-Academia Foundation Joon Sung Lee, Minister of SMEs and Startups Young Ju Oh, Director General of Technology Innovation Policy Woo Soon Kim, as well as over 200 attendees including Ewha faculty members, researchers, corporate representatives, and officials from related organizations such as Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Seoul Business Agency, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME).

During the Key Technology Showcase session, leading researchers at Ewha presented breakthrough technologies in fields such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, secondary batteries, data and cybersecurity, and digital healthcare. In particular, Professor Jee Eun Sung introduced her communication-based language-cognition diagnostic and rehabilitation program. Her presentation sparked active discussions and opened direct networking opportunities with companies and researchers interested in the technology, providing a meaningful step forward toward commercialization and collaboration.

2024년 12월 18일(수) 오후 2시 이화여자대학교 ECC 이삼봉홀에서 본교가 보유한 첨단 기술과 혁신적인 연구 성과를 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있는 ‘테크-비즈 이화(Tech-Biz EWHA) 2024’가 개최되었습니다.

‘테크-비즈 이화’는 본교 산학협력단이 주관하여 2021년부터 매년 개최하고 있는 행사로, 미래 유망 기술의 사업화를 촉진하고 연구자와 기업 간의 네트워킹 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련되었습니다. 올해 행사에는 김은미 총장, 이준성 연구처장 겸 산학협력단장, 중소벤처기업부 오영주 장관, 김우순 기술혁신정책관을 비롯하여 본교 교수진, 연구자, 기업 관계자, 그리고 강원특별자치도, 서울경제진흥원, 기술보증기금, 중소벤처기업진흥공단 등 다양한 유관기관 관계자 약 200명이 참석하여 큰 호응을 얻었습니다.

우수기술 발표 시간에는 바이오·의료·신약, 이차전지, 데이터, 보안, 헬스케어 등 본교 교수진이 보유한 대표 유망기술이 소개됐습니다. 특히, 성지은 교수님께서는 의사소통기반의 언어-인지 진단 및 재활 프로그램을 소개하며 관련 기술에 관심 있는 기업과 연구자가 직접 논의하고 협력 방안을 모색할 수 있는 네트워킹 시간을 마련하여 기술 상용화에 한 걸음 더 다가서는 계기를 마련했습니다.
